Service Tips

Here are some tips for making your service experience
at Jim Sigel fast and efficient.

  • Write some notes down that you can have the technician read. We may learn more about the trouble you are having with your vehicle. Things like noises, smells, vibrations, can help lead a technician to the problem with your car.

  • If the problem with your car is intermittent, then a short diary of when the problem occurs can be very helpful. Things like temperature, when the vehicle was driven last, how far it was driven is very helpful.
  • If the problem with your car is a fluid leak, the color and location of the leak is very important. Put a large piece of paper under the vehicle overnight and bring the paper in with the fluid leak on it.
